1. MISSION STATEMENT
The school was founded based upon the Adventist Philosophy of Education which lays emphasis on the provision of a true and balanced form of education that involves the physical, emotional, moral and spiritual well-being of the individual. To sum it up, the Adventists philosophy of education believes in the training of the Head, the Heart and the Hand.

2. VISION
The school was established to give holistic education to the youth of Ghana as enshrined in the church’s philosophy of education and this has been our focus since its establishment. In the end, the school wishes to inculcate in the youth of Ghana the dignity of labour which is obtained through formal education and to equip them with skills needed to enter the job market and to fit them into the world to come, Heaven.

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Adventist Senior High School then known as Adventist Day Secondary School was founded by the S.D.A churches in Kumasi in 1983 with 80 students grouped into two classes. It operated as a private mission school until 1994 when it was abs9orbed into the public school system. In 2003, the boys dormitory was put up to meet the needs of those boys who wanted to live in the school. This called for the deletion of the word ‘day’ from the name of the school to reflect it new status. There are plans afoot for the construction of a girl’s dormitory. The school offer courses in the following programs. General Science, General Arts, Visual Arts, Business Studies and Home Economics

8. STAKEHOLDERS
a. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) has helped the school in diverse ways.
i. Built the thirty (30) classrooms
ii. Purchased two cars for the school – 508 Benz Bus and Toyota Urvan Bus
iii. Built four-storey dormitory block for Boys with masters’ flats attached.
iv. Built Library for the school
v. Helped in landscaping of school compound
vi. Built the Dining Hall with kitchen attached for the school
vii. Built the Headmaster’s Bungalow for the school
b. S.D.A CHURCH. through ADRA GHANA and DENMARK
i. Dug one bore-hole for the school
ii. jointly supported the construction of the block containing the Headmaster’s office with the P.T.A
iii. Supported the P.T.A to construct the science block.
