The late Akrosohene Nana Kweku Afariwua IV has readily offered a large tract of land covering forty seven (47) acres for the construction of building of the school.
The school enrolled its first batch of students numbering one hundred and twenty two (122). The first Headmaster was Mr. J. Addo-Larbi who is now on retirement. The school was first governed by an eleven-member board of governors under the able chairmanship of Mr. Ampofo Bempong.
It is worthy to mention that from January 1992 up to date many prominent products have been turned out by the school. Some of these products are now holding responsible positions in the country.
