1. VISION

Anfoega Senior High School is a corporate institution established to achieve the goals of education delivery as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service; the school exists to achieve high academic laurels by recruiting qualified and well motivated staff, providing requisite materials for teaching  and learning, ensuring conducive working environment to make staff and students committed to achieve the set target of academic excellence that will enable students further their education in tertiary institutions.

For the achievement of this vision, Management is committed to the following mission:

• Effective monitoring and supervision of staff and students
• Organising outreach programmes to basic schools in its catchments area
• Advertising the school through school durbars, inter-school sports and games as well as radio and television programmes-Campus Melody
• Soliciting assistance from stakeholders and benevolent organaisations to provide needed infrastructure
• Ensuring that all fees are paid through the bank draft
• Providing adequate logistics for all offices and departments.
• Recruiting adequate staff for all departments of the school.

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF INSTITUTION

Anfoega Senior High School was established as a Teacher Training College in 1965. Following a shift in educational policy, it was changed into a secondary school in 1972. Ever since, the school has gone through several changes in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service In November 2005, the school celebrated its 40^th Anniversary in a grand style. Boarding facilities exist for boys and girls.
