4. BRIEF HISTORY OF INSTITUTION
YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT: 1897
LOCATION: At Anum on airy Mt. Mframandwo in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.

IMPORTANT SCHOOL DATES: 8th February, 1897 – Founding of Anum Basel Mission Grammar School by German Missionary Rev. J. Lockmann.
LATER NAMES: Anum Presby Senior School, Anum Presby Boys Middle Boarding.
1963: Founding of Anum Training College department of the institution
Oct. 1971: The founding of Anum Presby Secondary department.
Sept. 1978: The transfer of the last batch of Training College students to Abetifi Presby Training College.
Sept. 1991: The school became a Senior Secondary School.
STATUS: Anum Presbyterian Secondary School is both Boarding and Day (MIXED)
