1. VISION:
The School’s vision is to train and educate students to enable them develop their God given talents to the fullest to help them effectively use the knowledge acquired to the benefit of themselves, the school, their community and the nation as a whole.
2. MISSION:
The mission of the school is to admit qualified students at the BECE level into the school, create an environment for them to facilitate effective and efficient teaching and learning. Its further purpose is to recruit qualified and hard-working teachers into the school; motivate them to put in their best in the fields of teaching and training of students to enable them fit well into the society. To inculcate into the students the sense of patriotism and hardwork

4. BRIEF HISTORY:
Attafuah Senior High Technical School, is an offshoot of the third Government school, established by the British colonial Government in 1896. It was named after King Attafuah I the then paramount chief of Akyem Kotoku traditional area who provided land for the establishment of the school. The school has a chequred history. It started life as a primary and continuation school from 1896 to 1977. In 1978, the school was upgraded to the status of an experimental Junior Secondary School. In 1991, it attained the full status of a Secondary Technical school. It is a co – educational institution.
Location: The school is located on a gentle plateau at the Southern part of the town called Old town. It is situated behind the St. Andrews Anglican church.
Status: HOSTEL / DAY
It has all the apparatus of becoming boarding school considering the Dormitories, Kitchen and the number of well qualified Domestic Bursar, Matron and a host of cooks and pantry men.
5. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
It is the oldest school in the Akyem Kotoku land and the third Government school in Ghana after Philip Quacoe School in Cape Coast and Kimbu School in Accra.
It became the Regional Champions in Girls Volley ball in 2009. The school took part in the National Milo Games in 2009 and placed 8th. The school has been excelling in both the SSSCE and WASSCE since its inception. In athletics and soccer the school is a force to recon with in the Birim Central Municipality.
6. SCHOOL FACILITIES:
Classrooms to accommodate up to 1250 students. Dormitories to house up to 700 students. 3 Staff bungalows, Library, mini Science Laboratory and 2 Bore holes.
