BAGLO RIDGE SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL
- BRIEF PROFILE:
The Baglo Ridge Senior High Technical School, is a community- based co-educational institution which was officially opened on the 4th of March 1991 as a public institution under the Ghana Education Service with 17 students and 4 teachers. It is to cater for the educational needs of prospective boys and girls who need secondary education in the catchment area in line with the 1991 Educational Reform programme.
The school is situated at Baglo-Buem in the Jasikan District of the Volta Region. It can be accessed from Hohoe through Lolobi, Baika, Likpe Kukurantumi, New Ayoma and Dzolu. From Jasikan, it can be accessed through Bodada, Kute, and Odumasi

The motto of the school is “Perseverance, Discipline and Knowledge”.

- BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE:
(i) One six-unit classroom block
(ii) A long block housing the administration, staff common room, library and store.
(iii) A three-unit workshop block with one of the units serving as a science laboratory.
(iv) Two staff quarters
(v) One Mozambique VIP toilet and one six-seater KVIP toilet.
(vi) One generator engine room.
(vii) One water tap.
(viii) Furniture for students.
Classroom facilities are woefully inadequate.
Equipment in the Technical Department also need rehabilitation to keep them in shape for practical work since most of the machines in the department have broken down and students no more benefit from them.
The structure being used as library and store are only make-shift apartments that are too small and inadequate for the purposes they are serving.
