1. VISION
To build a school grounded on sold academic excellence and sound moral standing through discipline and dedication to produce graduate with holistic abilities to meet the ever changing manpower needs of our country.

2. MISSION STATEMENT
To harness the limited material resource available and the skills of qualified and motivated staff to unearth and develop the hidden talents for potential of our young boys and girls through:-

3. SCHOOL CREST
It symbolizes the uniqueness of the school from other Senior High Schools. It portrays the original programmes the school was to undertake. It is divided into three compartments.
It is a shield with concave sides and tapers at the bottom.
The following are the symbols in the parts and their meaning
On the top is the inscription EGASS – which is the acronyom of the school’s name.
The next apartment is divided into two equal parts. Which is the middle. The left part is a pen on an opened book. This signifies or represents the academic pursuance of the school and the community.
The right part is a coal pot: – Signifies the importance the school and the community attach to vocational training programme. The bottom part is a tree- It signifies Agricultural prgramme.
The Crest rest on the Motto “Nsiyε Ma nkunyimdzi” meaning perseverance breeds success.

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
i. Eguafo-Abrem Senior High school
ii Year of establishment; February1991. It was founded as one of the 1991 schools dotted all over the country as result of the 1987 Educational reform, to absorb the JSS graduates from the numerous villages in the two traditional areas, Eguafo and Abrem. It was started with 20 students 16 boys and 4 girls, now the population stands at 960 students.
iii. Location
It is in the Komenda- Edina -Eguafo –Abrem Municipal at the North Western part of Elmina about five (5) kilometers off Ataabaadze Junction, on Accra -Takoradi road.

i. Boarding – The school is a boarding institution with dormitories for boys and girls
