FIASEMAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL-BOGOSO

1. VISION

The vision of Fiaseman Senior High School is to produce an all-round or a total student, excellence  in academic work, identification and development of individual talent through self discipline.

2. MISSION

Its mission is to implement Government’s effort at providing quality and equitable secondary education with the active co-operation of stakeholders so that students will acquire skills to enable them become employable and productive adults.

3. SCHOOL’S CRES AND MOTTO

The school’s crest is made up of flying eagle with pink and white as background colours. The motto of the school is “Labor Omnia Vincit” which means “Perseverance Conquers all”. The eagle in crest represent strength and endurance.

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF THE INSTITUTION

Year of Establishment

The school began as Royal Secretarial College in January 1955. It was founded by the late Mr. Jonathan Pra-Kofi Ainoo with the assistance and counseling from his brother Mr. Peter Ainoo also of blessed memory. It has undergone many changes and has grown to occupy an enviable position in the Public Education system. On 10th January 1967 its original name was changed to Fiaseman Secondary School in honour of the traditional area. Since then the school has been taking giant strides and has maintained its place and reputation in the Ghana Education Service.

Location

The school is located at Bankyim, a suburb of Tarkwa. It is about seven kilometer away from Tarkwa on the Tarkwa-Takoradi trunk road.

2006        Fiaseman Senior High School was second 2nd in the district level science project competition.

2009        Fiaseman Senior High School was second 2nd in the district level science project competition.

2010        Fiaseman Senior High School was second 2nd in the district level science project competition.

Inter School Debate

Fiaseman Senior High School place 3rd in the Western Region during the Financial Literacy quiz.
