NAMONG SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL
1. VISION
(i) The vision of the school is to educate and train students to efficiently use their total personalities to be useful not only to themselves but also to the school and the society as whole in future.
(ii) An excellent training based on the best moral principles and practices that the society can offer.
(iii) Providing excellent education to students to use their conscience, mind and heart for the promotion of peace and progress of the society.
2. MISSION
Our mission is carefully selected activities which have been instituted to enhance the achievement of our vision. These include:
(i) Admitting qualified students at the BECE level into the school
(ii) Creating a favourable environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
(iii) Constantly supplying students with the relevant teaching and learning equipment and materials.
(iv) Encouraging parents and guardians to provide the materials needs of their wards in addition to prompt payment of fees.
(v) Recruit qualified, experienced and hardworking teachers in the school.
(vi) Motivating the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, to put in their best in all fields so as to promote effective learning, teaching and training of the students.

(v) Important School dates: The school as formally opened on Monday, 28th January, 1991
STATUS: The School runs both Day and Boarding Sessions.
4. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS OVER THE YEARS
(i) SSCE
In the year 2004 and 2005 SSCE Schools Rating the school came 32nd and 30th respectively out of about 500 Senior High Schools in the country.
(ii) (a) STME CLINIC – ASHANTI REGIONAL LEVEL 2006 – First Prize Award
(b) STME NATIONAL LEVEL 2007 – Second Prize Award

• A ground for a multi-purpose sporting activities is under construction

• The school has farms for maize, beans and garden eggs cultivation
• There is a small piece of land for development of tree planting.
