Our mission is to attract potential Senior High School students within the Sunyani West District and beyond and provide them with sound academic and moral up-bringing that would let them be able to face the technological and knowledge based world and contribute effectively to the manpower and human resource development of the nation in the area of Vocational, Science, Agricultural Science, General Arts and Business.

- BRIEF HISTORY
Year Established: 11TH DECEMBER, 1986
Location: The School is located in ODOMASE, the capital of the Sunyani West District. It is a 10-minute drive from Sunyani, the regional capital of the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The late Mr. Joseph Kwabena Duah was the brain child of the establishment of this noble institution. The vision was to establish a secondary school at Odomase to absorb the numerous basic schools graduates in Odomase and its envirous. The Late Mr. Joseph Duah sold the idea to the two Traditional Councils of Odomase. The councils saw the wisdom in the vision and mobilized both material and financial resources for the take off of the school.
With Nana Kwame Baah Bentuo, a linguist and an educationist, they consulted the then Regional Officer in charge of higher institutions, Mr. Aggrey Forson. Mr. Aggrey Forson finally helped for the take off, as a community school, with National Service personnel appointed by the Regional Education Directorate to teach in the school. Nana Kwame Baah Bentuo served as the co-ordinator. On 8th November 1985, the school was unofficially opened with Nana Kwame Asante Krobea III known in private life as Mr. M. A. Brenya as the Acting Headmaster, he performed this function free of charge. Nana Kwabena Ameyaw was the first chairman of the Board of Governors. On 11th December, 1986, the school was officially opened. The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) has played a vital role in the development of the school by putting up classroom blocks and computer laboratory.
Important Dates: On 5th November 2005 the School held its 20th Anniversary and the maiden speech and Prize Giving Day. This occasion was grace by H. E the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
Status: The school started as a Community Day school with Hostel facilties.
- ACADEMIC AND OTHER MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
During the 2000 SSSCE, the school placed third (3) with a hundred percent pass out of fifty – three (53) schools in Brong Ahafo Region. Again in 2001 the school presented thirty-nine candidates and had a hundred percent pass.
Other Achievements
The school emerged the winners of the Regional Inter School Milo games championship and represented the Brong-Ahafo Region in 2007/2008 academic year and placed fourth. The school placed second in the 2009 Brong-Ahafo boys’ volley competition. Two students of the school were part of the Brong-Ahafo team for the 2009 Milo Marathon in Accra and had awards.

- Academic
- Classroom: The school has 24 classrooms. A new 12-unit classroom block is currently under construction.
- Science Laboratories: There is only one laboratory for physics, chemistry, biology and integrated Science practical work.
- Computer Laboratory: The school has a computer laboratory with over thirty (30) computers linked to the Internet.
- Library: One classroom is being used as library. It has number of fairly old books and a few current ones.
- Non Academic
- Recreational Grounds: The school has a nice, well kept field for physical education and other sporting activities.
- Cadet Corps: The school has a strong cadet trained by the military.

The P. T. A. has a put up classroom blocks and staff quarters for the school. It also designed and built a complete Library block with offices which are being used as computer laboratory.
- Traditional Authorities
The two paramount chiefs in Odomaseman are represented on the Board of Governors of the school. One of the traditional rulers once became an acting Headmaster of the school. The school has been a unifying force for the two traditional chiefs.
- Municipal Assembly
The Municipal Assembly is also represented at the Board of Governors of the school. They help in taking decisions that affect the school. They are never forgetful of their duties towards the development of the school.
- Others
The former Member of Parliament for Sunyani West, Ho. K. Adjei-Darko, helped to link the school to the national grid. He also helped to build a girls’ dormitory block for the school.
Hon. I. Baffour Awuah, the current Parliamentarian, also donated large quantities of exercise books to the school. He further donated ceiling fans and a professional public address system to the school.
The current Regional Minister, Hon. K. Nyamekye Marfo, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Osei Asibey, are also supporting the development of the school in diverse ways. They have re-activated a number of abandoned projects in the school including a 12-unit classroom block, administration block, computer laboratory, and have initiated the construction of a staff bungalow for the school.
