Minister of Education with effect from 1st January 1997. (Vide Ref: No SS.848 Vol.2/42 of 8th September 1997).
A Task Force was formed by the then District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bawku on the take off of the Tempane Senior Secondary School on the 22nd December 1997 charged with the responsibility to forming an interim Board of Governors as well as the executive member of the Parents Teacher Association.
