3. BRIEF HISTORY
The School’s official name is Toase Senior High School. It is popularly known by the acronym TOSS.
It metamorphosised from a basic school formally known as Toase Local Authority Middle School to become Teacher Training College which acronym Nkatoasco attracted humour and delight among people from all walks of life in the 1960s. In 1971, it was converted into a secondary school.
It emerged as a typical rural school with an urge to rub shoulders with the leading school in the cities. It adopted the name Supreme Toss. This name was changed to ‘Nanamma’ when Nana Adom Frimpong the Headmaster from 1988 – 2003 led the school through rapid development. The runs both Day and Boarding systems.

It is the school’s closest friend and very active, benevolent helper and supporter in all school programmes
iii. TRADITIONAL AUTHORITY
It serves on the Governing body i.e. Board of Governors and readily help in the affair whenever its assistance is called for.
iv. DISTRICT ASSEMBLY
Active as it meets the school’s needs and attention be heard at the District Assemblies on educational development.
