To equip students with the requisite skills to produce the man power requirement for our industries, particularly the North

It is the vision of the school to train students in carpentry, joinery, metal work, agriculture, catering to cater for the man power requirement of the country.
- SCHOOL CREST
The school has a crest in which ants are found carrying a hammer and a hoe tied together. This indicates how united the ants are in doing work. If this idea of the ants is developed in students and the people of Ghana as a whole, the country will be able to move forward in its development. The motto of the school is Love, Knowledge and Labour. Please, find attached a picture of the school crest.
- BRIEF HISTORY OF THE INSTITUTION
Tuna Senior High/Technical is a community day school established in 1991 in accordance with the Educational reforms of P.N.D.C. The institution was founded by the combined efforts of the community, the Bole District Assembly, the Catholic Church of Tuna with Rev. Fr. Benard Hagen being at the helm of affairs.
The school is located West of Tuna about on kilometer (1 km) away from Tuna central along the Kalba road. The school has a telephone number of 075692904. No important event so far had been organized.
The school is a day school with a few hostel facilities put up by the Catholic Church to cater for students form distant places. Hence three quarters (3/4) of the students are made day due to the limited hostel facilities in the school
- MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS OVER THE YEARS
SSSCE AND WASSCE RESULTS
The school had realized a tremendous achievement in both the SSSCE and WASSCE results in the past years. For example, in 2008 WASSCE, three subject areas had a hundred percent (100%) score. These include Woodwork, General Agriculture and Clothing and Textiles. In 2007 there was also another hundred percent (100%) score in Mathematics.
REGIONAL GAMES
For Regional Games, one (1) girls, a Home Economics two (2) students Bal-uu Yelfer Belinda placed second in both three thousand (3000 m) and Cross Country events respectively. Having qualified, she was selected to take part in the national sports competition.
